Background
Prior to founding KOR Law, Kenny practiced at multiple reputable firms, including an AmLaw 200 firm representing banking institutions, mortgage lenders and servicers, and trusts in contested foreclosures, title claims, and contract litigation. He also defended clients facing claims brought under RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and related state statutes, as well as asbestos matters. Kenny previously practiced at a national law firm representing consumer debtors and defended public benefit corporations.
Kenny regularly defends clients against banks and other financial institutions, including mortgage servicers in foreclosures (commercial and residential), breach of contract claims, personal guaranties, and judgment enforcement. His practice covers contract litigation, title claims, quiet title actions, and the negotiation and litigation of municipal tax, zoning, code enforcement, lien obligations, and judgments.
He also litigates general business and commercial issues, including fraud, breach of contract, unfair trade practices, finance matters, and commercial disputes arising under the Uniform Commercial Code concerning sales, negotiable instruments, fund transfers, and secured transactions. Kenny’s practice further includes defending claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law.
