About KOR Law LLP

Built Differently.
Litigating at the Highest Level.

Founded by two former AmLaw-trained litigators who understood that sophisticated clients increasingly want something different from their counsel: elite advocacy without institutional detachment.

The Modern Litigation Boutique

A New Generation of
High-Stakes Counsel.

KOR Law LLP combines elite legal sophistication with the hunger, adaptability, and real-world perspective that modern clients increasingly demand.

Founded by two former AmLaw-trained commercial litigators, KOR Law represents businesses, lenders, investors, professionals, entrepreneurs, property owners, and individuals in high-stakes disputes across New York and New Jersey. Our practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, business divorces, distressed asset and foreclosure-related litigation, post-judgment enforcement, regulatory matters, injunctions, and strategically sensitive disputes where leverage, timing, and execution determine outcomes.

As a woman-owned and minority-owned leadership team, both under 40, KOR Law brings a broader perspective and a more personal approach to advocacy, without sacrificing the intensity, strategic precision, or courtroom strength expected from top-tier litigators. We are entrepreneurial, responsive, and deeply invested in our clients’ outcomes because we built this firm ourselves, from the ground up. We understand entrepreneurs because we are them.

“Sophisticated litigation talent
with entrepreneurial energy and modern perspective.”

Kenny G. Oh, Esq.

Managing Partner

Kenny’s background spans both sides of complex financial litigation. Prior to founding KOR Law, Kenny practiced at multiple reputable firms, including an AmLaw 200 firm representing banking institutions, mortgage lenders and servicers, and trusts in contested foreclosures, title claims, and contract litigation. He also defended clients facing claims brought under RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and related state statutes, as well as asbestos matters. Kenny previously practiced at a national law firm representing consumer debtors and defended public benefit corporations.

Kenny regularly defends clients against banks and other financial institutions, including mortgage servicers in foreclosures (commercial and residential), breach of contract claims, personal guaranties, and judgment enforcement. His practice covers contract litigation, title claims, quiet title actions, and the negotiation and litigation of municipal tax, zoning, code enforcement, lien obligations, and judgments.

He also litigates general business and commercial issues, including fraud, breach of contract, unfair trade practices, finance matters, and commercial disputes arising under the Uniform Commercial Code concerning sales, negotiable instruments, fund transfers, and secured transactions. Kenny’s practice further includes defending claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law.

Founding Partner

Muriel S. Raggi, Esq.

Managing Partner

Muriel routinely represents companies and high-net-worth individuals in “bet the company” commercial disputes, securities enforcement, and government investigation matters. She has handled actions in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations, and conducts internal investigations and defends clients in enforcement matters. Muriel also has experience defending clients in criminal cases in federal and state court and litigating commercial lease disputes.

Prior to co-founding KOR Law, Muriel spent nearly a decade at two “Top 10” AmLaw 100 firms in their litigation and securities enforcement practice groups. That experience, combined with her decision to build something different, is what shapes how she approaches every matter at KOR Law.

Muriel maintains a robust pro bono practice. She has represented sexual assault survivors as a civilian victim advocate in the military’s Court Martial process; immigrants displaced and incarcerated at the U.S. border in the asylum-seeking process; low-income parents in child custody proceedings and Child Protective Services investigations; indigent defendants in federal criminal matters relating to RICO, Hobbs Act Robbery, drug trafficking, and capital murder charges, and in state court related to shoplifting, assault, and burglary charges; incarcerated individuals in lawsuits seeking adequate medical care; and a wrongfully convicted man who spent almost three decades in prison for crimes he did not commit, successfully obtaining a pardon.

Beyond the Case File

We Build Relationships,
Not Just Case Files.

Many of our client relationships begin with a single dispute. Over time, those relationships often grow far beyond the original matter, into representation of spouses, children, partners, parents, and closely held companies.

That trust is not built through marketing. It is built through results, responsiveness, discretion, and genuine personal investment in the people we represent.

Powerful in Court.
Trusted Beyond It.
